US Oil Price Tops $80 a Barrel

US oil price tops $80 per barrel for the first time since 2014.

The oil figures come as September’s jobs report fell below expectations

Higher oil prices translate to higher prices at the pump with the national average for a gallon of gas at $3.26 the consumer is paying over $1 a gallon more than this time last year.

As US oil price tops $80 the bigger question in this stagnating economy is how far will the price rise and will we see $100 a barrel in the next 6 months?

We still have no recovery in site from the pandemic and interest rates are starting to rise. I believe prices at the pump will continue to increase
