Alternative Fuels

California is taking alternative fuels extremely seriously, so much so that it recently passed its own Bill to deal with the issue.

Assembly Bill 109 authorizes the Energy Commission to develop and deploy alternative and renewable fuels and advanced transportation technologies to help attain the state’s climate change policies.

ALTERNATIVE FUELS

It is far too early to say which of the alternative fuels will become the leader in its field. The technology is still in its infancy and as yet the car makers are not making enough vehicles at a price that makes sense to the consumer.  However we are seeing a number of E 85 stations being developed as well as CNG and LNG

Alternative fuels faces significant uncertainties such as the availability of new vehicle technologies, the cost and availability of new fueling infrastructures, and acceptance of these fuels by consumers.

If you are considering alternative fuels at your location call a Gas Man, we can advise you on the options available to you
